Dr. Gennys Russo

Dentist

Dr. Gennys Russo was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela; she completed her dental degree at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, the first and most prestigious Dental School in the country. She practiced for seven years as a general dentist, and during this time, she became interested in the specialty of orthodontics.

After seeing the positive effect that orthodontics could have on a person’s self-esteem, personality, and confidence, she decided to star her journey, enrolling in a 1-year fellowship in interceptive and dentofacial orthodontics and then, she continued, for three more years, her education awarding her Master of Science degree in Dentistry in the Specialty of Orthodontics, with honors

She continues her dream to provide the highest standards of orthodontic care for children, teens, and adults and decided to move to the United States of America, where she completed her academic education at Larkin Community Hospital, attending the “Advanced Education in General Dentistry” program, where she received an enriching training in pediatric dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Russo earned the role of chief resident, the highest honor awarded to the dental resident who best demonstrates scholarship, leadership, integrity, humanity, and loyalty to their patients and the profession.

Currently, she works as a general dentist with practice limited to orthodontics. She is a strong believer that patient care starts by listening to and understanding people’s concerns and desires, and her goals are to connect with people and to deliver a beautiful smile. When she is not in the office, you can find her with her husband, who is also a dedicated and passionate dentist and hanging out with the love of their life: Mia and Matteo.

TIP for Parents

Having your child visit the dentist visit for regular cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants to prevent tooth decay can save you money and reduce the need for further dental treatments.
